National Night Out was a big success again this year and we had more than 200 people show up! The
Trenton Police Department did most of the organizing and everyone enjoyed the music and the kids definitely enjoyed the water
slide. As well as giving us a sense of community and meeting some of our neighbors we had some new people join the association.
I wanted to say a special thanks to the rest of the executive committee for stepping up and making everything run smoothly.
And thanks to our chefs for cooking all those burgers and dogs in the heat. As well, we had a lot of our neighbors
help out by donating money, food or ice chests and others helped by delivering fliers. Everyone else helped just by
being there. It was definitely a team effort. Our Councilman Gino Melone provided our music once again and we
thank him for that. And then all the people that provide services for us spent the evening travelling around to most
of the events in the City (there were 68 events in Trenton this year). These groups included policemen, firemen, the
Sheriff's department, Parole, Probation and the prosecutor's office.
Thanks again everyone and we'll look forward to next year!
